Harley Quinn, under the guise of "Beret," is a fictional character appearing in DC Comics' Rebirth continuity. This version presents a reimagining of the classic Harley Quinn, retaining her core personality but placed in a new, undercover role.

Once Dr. Harleen Quinzel, a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum, she became obsessively infatuated with the Joker, transforming into the villainous Harley Quinn. This origin remains largely intact in the Rebirth iteration.

The "Beret" identity serves as a cover for Harley as she works with a team, often operating within morally grey areas. She still displays her trademark unpredictable nature, manic energy, and surprising intellect, but she channels these traits into her covert missions.

While remaining chaotic and humorous, this version of Harley demonstrates a capacity for heroism and empathy, often grappling with the duality of her past villainy and her present desire to do good.

Harley (Beret) continues to wield her signature weapons and gadgets, though her tactics are now employed in service of a greater good, or at least, what she perceives to be a greater good.
